Crypto Firm Offers to Fund Trump’s Border Wall with Ads

The CR$ issuer has sent members of Congress with a package of solutions on how cryptocurrency can help address the issue of illegal immigration.

First, the CR$ issuer is prepared to allocate one-third of its revenue from the sale of CR$ cryptodollars to fund the construction of the border wall.

Second, the company proposes covering the remaining cost of the wall through future advertising contracts. Ads for crypto exchanges, English language courses, and immigration lawyers could be displayed on the wall. The border will always be a crossing point, ensuring a constant advertising audience.

Third, the firm suggests implementing a self-deportation payment program, offering illegal migrants’ compensation for leaving the country, either in U.S. dollars or cryptocurrency. The CR$ issuer is ready to provide the necessary volume of its currency for this initiative. Similar programs already exist in other countries, such as Denmark, which offers financial incentives to migrants who voluntarily return to their home countries.

The proposal has been sent to Senator Katie Britt, Congressman Steve Scalise, Senator Ted Cruz, Senator James E. Risch, Senator John Barrasso, Senator Mike Rounds, and Senator Roger Wicker. CR$ expects that outspoken opponents of illegal immigration will support this initiative.
